Wedding season again for summer and with 10 weddings booked, I am so excited for the summer looks! Vanessa is such a beautiful bride of mine; she has so much hair and wanted an updo but because of the length and heaviness of her hair I told her it would look better if it was down and to the side, to keep all the weight down. Meet Jenna! Jenna was a bride I did about a month ago and I finally got the professional pictures. I love sharing these pictures. Jenna was such a beautiful bride.Her bridesmates wanted to wear half up half down with loose curls. I love adding different curls and textures to the girl’s hair just to give each one her own style. Even though Jenna wore a short style, we added the clip in extensions to give Jenna more body and volume for her wedding day. Did you even notice that she wore the clip in extensions? Last weekend i did hair and makeup for a wedding and the mother of the bride asked for a twist. So i decided to do a french twist, knowing she would love it. Meet Amy! This years wedding season is going to be so busy. My schedule is full of hair styles and makeup applications. The best part of my job is being able to provide excellent service, and give my clients the styles they desire. Have you ever asked your self what styles look best on you? As a stylist my best advice is to change your look often , because it helps give you a change that you can get adopted too. Amy attended a wedding in west palm beach and wanted a pulled back ,clean bun that was elegant . With her makeup, Amy had flawless skin, so i did a traditional makeup application. With her eyes i used some champagne colors mixed with purples and browns. I wanted to give her full lashes, so I added false lashes. Amy’s over all look came out beautiful and I couldn’t be happier with her look. What do you think of Amy’s styles?
Every year stylist’s are invited to join 2 days full of shopping, learning, music, new products and crazy different hairstyles. The premiere beauty show is huge! The event is full of hair products, new and improved Keratin treatments. Each vendor has a booth and depending on the product or how big they are, some even have huge stages with a runway. It’s such an awesome event to be part of, with watching new cutting and color techniques, is always my favorite part! One of the big hits at the premier was the “Eye Lash Extension”, I decided to get trained to do eye lashes extensions! So I am so excited to add that as a service to my dear clients. The show was a blast and it never gets old to me, I always take any chance I can get to learn new techniques. I met with my client Jenna a couple of weeks ago. She came to me because she is an inspiring singer and songwriter. Jenna sent me a link to my email for her new song, “Feels so good to say goodbye”. I loved her song so much and her style of music, Jenna was so delightful to work with. On Wednesday we did hair and makeup for her photo shoot with Becky Prada Photography! Whom by the way, Becky’s work is amazing and talented. With Jenna’s Makeup, we wanted a look that was natural but still sexy and youthful. Jenna loves her hair down, so I decided to add some Enzo Milano curls to give her more of a soft, loose curl effect. Take a look below of her before and after pictures. Today’s trends with up-do’s have changed dramatically. Up-dos now are messy, and have a lot of movement into the hair design. I prefer the messy look, because it tends to last longer and if you dance all night you don’t have to worry about your hair. To go to an event or a wedding with a messy up-do is such a quick way to get a classic look. Saturday my client had a color root application and some highlights applied for the Summer. After I finished her blow-dry we decided to do a classic chic bun. It was so nice to be able to create something clean and so artistic. I love that I can incorporate so many different looks with different types of texture in the hair! I am posting some after pictures of her up-do.
