Low Bridesmaid Updo – West Palm Beach Hair Salon

Sandra (the bride from yesterday’s blog) really wanted her bridesmaids to have a similar look. She had a princess updo, so for her bridesmaids we did similar curls but not as high on the head. The lower updo still had the same curls and movement as the bride, but just different enough to make the bride really stand out.

With pin set curls and some teasing we were able to create a really chic and elegant look. For eye makeup, we did a smokey effect with Urban Decay golds, smog, and brown colors. Eyelashes gave the finishing touch and just enough drama!

Sandra, Wedding Hair and Makeup Trial – West Palm Beach Hair Salon

Sandra is getting married on March 1st and came to me with a picture of a beautiful updo that she wanted for her wedding day, and I was so excited to help recreate it! We did her hair and makeup trial and her final look was so beautiful. We created a look that not only complimented her features, kept her look classy & beautiful for the big day, and also helped her to still feel herself.

There are many brides to be that come to me with elaborate hair & makeup pictures, but they don’t usually wear too much makeup or do their hair every day. Although they would no doubt look beautiful with the look on the picture, it wouldn’t be “them”. It’s so important that you look your own beautiful on the big day. I love styling hair, because since I specialize in cutting and coloring it helps me to find the most complimentary style with each face shape. So no matter what picture you bring in, I’ll help you find a way to make it work.

Quinceanera Beauty – West Palm Beach Hair Salon

I did a Quince party this weekend and this lovely 15 year old was so excited to get her hair & makeup done! I did an airbrush finish, with golds and browns for her eyes. Those tones looked amazing with her gorgeous, naturally tanned skin and really helped to enhance her eyes and skin. We also added false lashes to really make her eyes pop and finished with a light lipstick. Her hair was curled softly with a rod iron and her final look was amazing!

I can’t wait to get the professional pictures in, with her completed look – quince dress and all!

She has natural medium brown hair, so we decided to give her a red velvet ombre effect. I did a Victoria’s Secret haircut, which is long layers starting at the collar bone.

Falicia – Wedding Hair and Makeup, West Palm Beach Makeup Artist

Falicia is an old friend of mine from highschool and I was so thrilled to be able to do her hair & makeup for her wedding. Her hairstyle is half up, half down with volume at the crown and a side-swept bang. She has amazing skin that looked flawless with airbrush makeup and for her eyes I played with different shades of gold, bronze, and brown and kept her lips soft.

Bridal Hair and Makeup Trial – West Palm Beach Makeup Artist & Hairstylist

This beautiful bride to be was such a joy to work on! This years bridal hair trend seems to be the half up, half down style so I was so happy to hear that we’d be doing something a little different for her look. We played around with her texture by adding some height to her crown, play with curls, and lots of pinning! This up-do is such a classy yet casual look that’s one of my favorites.

For her makeup she wanted a smokey eye with metallic and silver shades. Her finished look is gorgeous and really helps to make her beautiful blue eyes pop.
